Maureen Love (aka Maureen Love Calvert) 1922-2004
Maureen love was an animal lover and a prolific artist. She began sketching racehorses at Santa Anita Park in the 1950 's and producing clay models for Hagen-Renaker including Man O ' War, Kelso, Terrang, Swaps, and Silky Sullivan. She eventually portrayed every breed of horse from Arabians to Mustangs, thrilling horse lovers for three generations.

A number of her equine sculptures were also licensed to Breyer Model Horses. She later offered a line of original sculptures under "Maureen Love Originals" (MLO), and collaborated with others to produce figurines through "Made With Love" and "Molds from Maureen's Garage"
