FEP (Final Engineering Pilot): This is the car as decorated per esheet, given to Graphics for review, comments, and revision/approval/rejection. This is where we control production quality, making comments on specific fit, finish, and execution. If from either MBK (Thailand) or MMSB (Malaysia), these will always have a code stamped in ink on the hood or roof. MOA (China) does not track FEPs this way. Tracked internally as FEP1, FEP2, etc, depending on revisions. Graphics, Engineering/Planning, and Mktg each receive a copy. If you see pictures online or a physical sample with an FEP code and it's not clearly sourced from a Mattel employee, it's stolen property.
