The best known Green Lantern is Hal Jordan, the first earthman to be inducted into The Green Lantern Corps. Green Lantern is one of the founding members of the Justice League and spends most of his time patrolling the galaxy in his sector. Green Lantern was created by John Broome and Gil Kane, first appearing in Showcase #22.
