Queen is a rock band formed in London in 1970. It's classic line-up consisted of Freddie Mercury (lead vocals, piano), Roger Taylor (drums, vocals,) and John Deacon (bass guitar). The band was influenced by progressive rock, hard rock, glam rock, and heavy metal. Queen has released a total of 18 number one albums, 18 number one singles, 10 number one DVDs, and are estimated to have sold between 150 - 300 million records worldwide, making them one of the world's all-time best-selling music acts. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001.
