Texas Tech University

Texas Tech University is a public research institution in Lubbock, Texas. Originally known as Texas Technological College, TTU was founded in 1923. Today it is the flagship school in the Texas Tech University System. The school is the only of its kind in the country to house both its law and medical schools in the same location.

Texas Tech's mascot is the Red Raiders and its sports teams play out of the Big 12.
