Trigun - The Ballad Of Vash The Stampede

The Trigun TV series was released April 1998 and tells the story of Vash the Stampede, aka The Humanoid Typhoon. The full name of the series is Trigun - The Ballad Of Vash The Stampede Or The Legend Of The Galaxy's Greatest Gunslinger.

Trigun takes place in the distant future on a deserted planet. Vash the Stampede is a gunfighter with a legend so ruthless that he has a $$60,000,000,000  (sixty billion double dollar) bounty on his head. Entire towns evacuate at the rumor of his arrival. However, the real Vash the Stampede is not the same man that rumor portrays him to be. Meryl Stryfe and Milly Thompson, two employees who work for the Bernadelli Insurance Society, have been given the job of making sure that Vash causes as little damage as possible.
