Tyco was an American toy manufacturer best known for their HO Scale slot cars and model trains as well as radio controlled vehicles. Tyco also owned Matchbox from 1993 to 1997.

Tyco, including the View-Master Ideal Group, was aquired by Mattel on 27 March 1997. Prior to the acquisition, Tyco was the third largest toy company in the United States. Mattel continued the Tyco R/C brand into the 2000s but folded Tyco's other product lines into other Mattel brands such as Fisher-Price.
