Star Trek The Original Series Portfolio Prints

2014 Rittenhouse Star Trek TOS Portfolio Profiles takes an artistic approach to the classic series. It has the show's first sketch cards since 2005. It also has a new autograph design for key members of the bridge crew. Boxes come with both a sketch card and an autograph.

The base set has 80 cards, one for each of the 79 episodes. The two-part "Menagerie" appropriately comes with two cards. Instead of taking shots from the shows like so many sets have done in the past, each card comes with poster-style artwork done by Juan Ortiz. Gold parallels fall one per box and come with a facsimile signature from the artist. Ortiz has also signed some Autograph parallels.

Each of the 50 episodes from seasons two and three are covered with the sketch cards. Unlike a lot of other sets where there's a lot of variety between sketches, episodes use the same image due to licensing. Artwork is still done directly on the card, though. This is similar to the sketches in 2005 Rittenhouse Star Trek Art and Images, which had artwork for the first season. Each 2014 Rittenhouse Star Trek TOS Portfolio Prints sketch card is limited to 200 copies or less.
