The Watchers have stated that once all of the Immortals are no more, they will tell the world that Immortals once walked among them. The Watchers have existed for centuries hiding in plain sight and recording immortals lives in their personal "Watcher Chronicles". The secret organization members are branded with a "Watch Tattoo"
The first Watcher introduced into the series was Joe Dawson (second season). It was learned over the course of the series that there were rogue Watchers on a mission to kill off immortals before any of them won the ultimate "Prize".
