1000 KM Suzuka

Race

Something Missing?

The 1000 km Suzuka is an annual 1000-kilometer endurance race for sports cars held at the Suzuka Circuit for a total of 173 laps. It is part of the Japanese Super GT Championship, and is considered the most prestigious race, as well as the longest.

The race will be discontinued as a 1000 km race in 2017, instead changing to a 10-hour endurance race in 2018.  With this change, it will also cease to be a part of the Super GT Championship, and will instead be an independent race.
