The 500 Miglia di Monza, also known as the "Race of Two Worlds" was held at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza in Italy in 1957 and 1958. It was created so that racers from the USA could compete with the Formula One Racers in Europe. After only its second year in existence, the race was discontinued due to safety concerns and operational costs.
