Al Toon was a three-time Pro-Bowl wide receiver for the New York Jets between 1985 and 1992. During that time Toon was one of the most prolific pass-catchers in franchise history, hauling in 6,605 career yards and 31 touchdowns. The NFL named him its Player of the Year in 1986. Toon was forced to retire, however, after concerns over lingering concussion symptoms.
