Baze Malbus

Baze Malbus was a protagonist in the film "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story." Malbus, along with close friend Chirrut Imwe, were Guardians of the Whills, a religious sect tasked with protecting the crystals in the Ancient Temple of Kyber. Malbus and Imwe continued to fight to protect the kyber crystals, even after the Imperial Empire seized control of the temple to harvest their power to build the laser on the original Death Star.

Malbus and Imwe eventually joined forces with Captain Cassian Andor and Jyn Erso on a mission to the planet Scarif to steal the plans for the Death Star. All four of them were killed during the battle, but not before successfully transmitting the plans to the Rebel Alliance.
