Blaby Computer Games

Named after the Leicestershire, England town in which it was based, Blaby was founded in January 1983 by John Bailiss. The first three Spectrum games were based on the idea of two 16-year-old boys, Gary Sewell and Gary Casewell. The result was three games: Gold Digger, Confusion and Chopper Rescue.

They went on to produce more than 10 Spectrum games, many based on popular arcade games. It was also one of the longest-standing supporters of the Dragon 32 computer. One first from the company was a promotional VCR showing the games being played through.
