The history of Boer B. V. dates back to 1941. In that year, Mr. J. A. Boer Sr. with contract work: lawn mowing and grass pits, dredging ditches and pressing hay. His three sons grew up in the company. A first excavator crane was soon followed by a crane converted into a crane. Then it went fast. Now Boer B. V. has a fleet of more than 80 vehicles, including aerial work platforms, cranes, and piling rigs.
In the early years the company was always looking for improvement of the equipment. Several excavator undercarriages were converted into piling rigs with diesel and fall blocks. The first rough-ground cranes were 25-tonners. In the 1990s, the demand for hoisting grew enormously. Gradually the tonnage of the purchased cranes grew. Now Boer B. V. has 35-, 45-, 50-, 70-, 90-, 160-, and 250-tonners. Moreover, Boer B. V. has crawler cranes with superstructure boom and high-speed tower cranes from 30 to 60 meters in our fleet .
