The Bridgestone Supercar Championship was a racing event sponsored by Bridgestone and hosted by IMSA. The event was held annually between 1991 and 1995. It featured higher end sports cars such as the Chevrolet Corvette, Porsche 911 Turbo, Mazda RX-7, Nissan 300ZX and Lotus Esprit.
It saw some controversy when the Consulier GTP won one of the races, as people insisted that it was not similar to the same Consulier GTPs that were seen on public roads.
