Cadum Pax

Brand

Something Missing?

Cadum is a French company whose main product is soap. In the 1950s and 1960s it also produced a brand of detergent called Pax. For several years the packs of that detergent contained plastic model cars as premiums.

Those model cars in scales from 1/66 to 1/90 were actually made by a Spanish company called Alsetoy. The same models can be found with the Alsetoy name cast on their bases, and also with other brand names such as Avia, Esso and Vylar. However, those with Cadum Pax cast on their bases are by far the most common, which is why the models are generally identified by this name.
