Captain Troy

Battlestar Galactica | Character

Something Missing?

Boxey from the original Battlestar Galactia series grows up to become Captain Troy in Galactica 1980, portrayed by Kent McCord. Dialogue in the initial episode of Galactica 1980 indicates that "Boxey" was a childhood nickname, and that the character's given name was always Troy.

By the time the Fleet discovered Earth after a (supposed) 30-year voyage, Troy had joined the Colonial forces as a Colonial Warrior and Viper pilot. Troy along with Lt. Dillon led the first team to interact with Earth which took place in the Earth year 1980.
