Only available in 1967 and 1968, the Carina series was a derivative of Faller's AMS series of slot cars. Bodies from the AMS series were combined with plain plastic chassis with no electrical connections. The cars from this series could therefore only be pushed along a surface or track.
The Carina series may be regarded as a precursor of the Hit Car series which followed in 1969.
