After being shot by pursuing police officers, he uses his obsessive knowledge of voodoo to transfer his soul into a doll, swearing vengance on the man who shot him. Chucky then uses his appearance to manipulate a young boy into aiding him on his criminal exploits. There have been 7 different movies featuring Chucky as the main antagonist, making him one of the most recognizable horror villains of all time.
