Corgi Cubs

Series

Something Missing?

Corgi Cubs were a basic range of models designed for the younger child and available in the early 1980s (perhaps as early as 1977), but they did not last long at all. There were a range of cars, vans, trucks and small lorries in a variety of bright colours produced at something around 1:43 scale, albeit the models were all generic and bore little resemblance to any real vehicle.

The upper part of the model was diecast, whilst the lower interior / baseplate component was made from plastic. Most did without window glazing, the few that did have it using clear plastic.
