Crysis (Video Game Series)

Crysis is a first-person shooter series with a science fiction aspect. The player plays a military soldier outfitted with a nanosuit, a high tech suit of armor that allows them enhanced physical prowess and other powers. While the series has never stood out story-wise the engine designed for it, the Crytek engine, was often used among PC gamers as a benchmark for the abilities of their computer. The phrase "Can it run Crysis?" became something of an inside joke amongst gamers for a time.
