Don Mattingly aka "Donnie Baseball" was a first baseman for the New York Yankees between 1982 and 1995. Mattingly was crowned the 1985 American League MVP, was a 9-time Gold Glove-winner and 6-time all-star. He retired with a lifetime .307 batting average, 222 home runs and 1,099 RBI. A team captain, the Yankees retired his No. 23 jersey number. Mattingly also managed the Los Angeles Dodgers between 2011 and 2015. He currently manages the Miami Marlins.
