Dorothy Zbornak (Nee Petrillo) is a fictional character who appeared on the TV situation comedy The Golden Girls (1985-1992). A sardonic divorcee and substitute teacher, she shared a Miami house with her mother, Sophia Petrillo (Estelle Getty), Blanche Devereaux (Rue McLanahan), and Rose Nylund (Betty White). Her ex-husband, Stan (Herb Edelman) recurred in her life. At the end of the series, she married Blanche's Uncle Lucas Hollingsworth (Leslie Nielsen). Dorothy was played by the actress Bea Arthur.
