He was the 1967 NHRA S/S World Champion, a Chrysler factory racer 1968 to 1971, 1969 AHRA Ultra Stock "pro stock" circuit champion, and 1970 NHRA Division 1 Pro Stock circuit champion. He set 16 National Records in NHRA, AHRA, IHRA & Nascar Drag Racing Division
