Something Missing?

Edil was a short-lived Italian company, launched in 1966 which made diecast 1:43 model cars. Its products were ntended to compete with Mebetoys, Politoys/Polistil and Mercury, the three leading diecast brands in Italy at that time. The company was short-lived and ceased production within two years, producing just 12 models. Some of the moulds were then sold to Turkey where versions of the models were produced under the Meboto and Orfey brand names.
