Exclusive First Editions

This firm first began producing 1:76 scale replicas of older buses and trucks in the early 1990s, mostly intended for sale in the UK but manufactured in China. In the mid 1990s EFE introduced a semi- car carrier accompanied with four model sport cars. There were also windowboxes containing two cars. They were an Austin Healey Sprite, MG-B, and two Triumphs: a Vitesse and a roadster. In 2002 these were reissued with enhanced detailing as the Gilbow Railway Series.

In 2016 Bachmann Europe plc announced their acquisition of the Exclusive First Editions range of 1/76th scale die-cast models.  In 2022, the name was changed to EFE Road. (Diecast Collector, Sep 2022)
