Fat Bastard is a Scottish henchman who appears in the films Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999) and Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002). He first appears when he is tasked with stealing Austin Powers' Mojo by Dr. Evil, a job he carries our successfully.
Fat Bastard is extremely obese (his weight is given as one metric tonne) and extremely strong. He is noted for his flatulence, digestive issues and unusual diet, which includes cannibalism.

At the end of Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, Fat Bastard announces that his over-eating and size are due to emotional issues and that he is planning to go on a diet. This ultimately proves unsuccessful as by the time of Austin Powers in Goldmember, he is still obese and pursuing a career as a Sumo Wrestler in Japan while still working occasionally for Dr. Evil. He does, however, lose a significant amount of weight by the end of that film, becoming "Thin Bastard" instead.
Fat Bastard is played by Mike Myers in one of the many roles he takes in the Austin Powers series.
