FJ - France Jouets

FJ - acronym for France Jouets. Founded in 1899, it became JEP in 1929, after the merging of SIF and JdeP (Jouets de Paris). Jouet produced appealing and quite complex toy cars in the 1930's, especially Delage, Rolls Royce, Talbot, Renault, Hispano Suiza and other great marks of the era. In 1965, the factory closed as the owners pursued other interest. The Jouet name is used by a later company Les Jouets Montblanc.
