MoreHistoric German producer of tin and later diecast and plastic models, of all scales.
Founded in 1882 by Georg Adam Mangold, the company survived until 1994 when it was absorbed by Märklin.
Märklin made some attempts to market various toy products under the Gama name in the late 1990s, as well as producing replicas of vintage Gama tinplate toys, but these attempts were ultimately unsuccessful, and the brand did not survive into the next millennium.
