Hallmark Cards

This American company is known for producing gifts and greeting cards. A series of novelty diecast vehicles meant to be part of an urban setting called "Road Rovers" were introduced in the early 1980s. Basically they are lumps of painted zamac on wheels. These were made in China and packaged in colorful windowboxes utilizing an image of city life. They were originally issued by LJN. Hallmark offers an annual program comprised of Christmas ornaments. On occasion, diecast models are represented among the variety of subject matter. Matchbox and Hot Wheels ornamental vehicles are available through a licensing agreement.
