Rollin' Thunder

Hot Wheels | Fictional Vehicle

Something Missing?

Designed by Phil Riehlman, Rollin' Thunder was introduced in the AcceleRacers series. Serving as Mitchell "Monkey" McClurg's first choice of vehicle, the car debuts at the Coast Road race. The car is completely decimated in the Storm Realm by an energy ball, and a duplicate is promptly brought to the Acceledrome by Deezel "Porkchop" Riggs. Over the course of the series, the vehicle is equipped adaptive tire technology. Rollin' Thunder is never seen again after Porkchop, with his unbridled enthusiasm, rips the driver side door right off the SUV. Post-AcceleRacers era, Rollin' Thunder has made various appearances in different Hot Wheels media.

In contrast to the animation model, the die-cast has a bigger wheelbase, lower profile, features no roof graphics (nor the two rear pipes), and was released with 3 different tones of red.
