Something Missing?

The Jensen brothers began their business as coachbuilders, when they took over the firm of W.J. Smith and Sons. They became motor manufacturers in 1935/6 and began lorry manufacture in 1939. This aspect of manufacture was replaced by subcontract work.

After both brothers had resigned as a result of ill-health, the company was successively owned by the Norcros Group, William Brandt, the merchant bankers, and the California business man Kjell Qvale. The firm went into liquidation in 1976.
