Lion (Denmark)

Brand

Something Missing?

Poul Leo Rasmussen started Lion in Denmark and named it for his middle name (most likely).  Before that, he started Tobi Toys, a small toy factory on Hessensgade (a street in København, DK).  They later moved to larger premises at Englandsvej 229, perhaps at the beginning of the sixties. He then switched to making balancing machines for car wheels. (told by Mick, his son.)

Some Lions have Molberg tires.  This Lion is not connected to the Dutch Lion Cars (Lion Toys) or to the two Lion cars made in Denmark and sold by Tekno.
