German flag carrier Lufthansa is to end its support for its vintage aeroplane foundation, the Deutsche Lufthansa Berlin Stiftung, which operates a 1936 Junkers Ju-52 on seasonal passenger flights.
The airline is cutting back due financial losses from operating the vintage flights, which it has been subsidising since 1986.
