Finally, in early 2012, we completed the acquisition of the Galaz Group, a Mexican manufacturer of steel side bars for commercial vehicles, as well as of Hayes Lemmerz, a US global manufacturer of steel and aluminum automotive wheels for light vehicles, and steel wheels for commercial vehicles.
With over 100 years of experience, Maxion Wheels has a true global presence with 20 facilities located in 14 countries around the world. The Company sells wheels to global manufacturer of passenger cars and commercial highway vehicles. The division combined the reach of Kesley Hayes, Lemmerz and Fumagalli, with the heritage of Iochpe-Maxion that provides engineering expertise, manufacturing capacity and efficient delivery in every major market around the world.
