Melis Logistics

Melis Transport was officially established in 1918, but that was not the first contact with the transport world. Years before, Marinus Melis had been transporting people by horse and carriage. Slowly there was also an increasing need for freight transport. When Marinus Melis' son Adrianus took over the company in 1930, the focus therefore shifted more to this transport. It was therefore not long before Melis stopped passenger transport to specialize even more in the transport of goods. In the sixties of the last century, Adrianus' son Adri took over the company. He further expanded it into a leading, professional and complete transport company. For several years, the company has been in the hands of Marwin Melis, who is at the helm as the fourth generation of Melis.

Because the logistics services provided by Melis went further than just transport, it was decided in mid-2017 to change the company name to Melis Logistics. At the beginning of 2018, the close-knit family business moved to the newly built site in Duiven, after the previous business premises at the same location unfortunately burned to the ground.
