Something Missing?

Motorcade was published by Gordon Behn through the Coronado Book Corporation. Mr Behn also owned Argus Publishers Corporation and created titles such as Popular Customs and Popular Hot Rodding.

Fall 1963 was the first issue, and the last issue ended in December 1970. The magazine mostly focused on new cars from Detroit, and it thrived during the muscle car era. Publication was erratic, and it shifted between monthly and bi-monthly print cycles.

Issue numbering was also erratic. Gordon Behn handed publishing to Stephen Urette in 1968, 1969 and possibly part of 1970. When Mr Behn took back publishing duties, he may have changed the numbering scheme along with the editorial director.
