Early Pathfinder models were castings produced by Brooklin and sprayed and assembled local to Pathfinder. At the time Brooklin wanted to increase production to more than the planned 600, so Pathfinder tried a couple of other manufacturers and used GTA Models until the end of production at No. 36. They had planned for a total reaching No.60 but due to Jeffs's unfortunate illness in the later years, they decided to call it a day.
