Peter Forsberg is a Swedish-born hockey player who made a name for himself in the National Hockey League, primarily with the Colorado Avalanche. In 15 NHL seasons, Forsberg scored 249 goals and dished out 636 assists. Named Colorado's captain in 2006, Forsberg helped guide the Avalanche to two Stanley Cup titles. He closed out his career with Philadelphia Flyers and Nashville Predators before retiring in 2011. The Hockey Hall of Fame inducted him as a member in 2014.
