The band was influenced by progressive rock, hard rock, glam rock, and heavy metal. Queen has released a total of 18 number one albums, 18 number one singles, 10 number one DVDs, and are estimated to have sold between 150 - 300 million records worldwide, making them one of the world's all-time best-selling music acts. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001.
