Richard has written and co-authored numerous books, including From Passion to Perfection, Delage Styling and Design, Curves of Steel, Delahaye Styling and Design, The Art of Bugatti, and French Curves. He is also a contributing on-air personality for Discovery's One of a Kind on the Velocity Channel. He has personally restored three Delahayes and one Talbot-Lago and has been involved in many other restorations in an advisory capacity. He has driven in the Rally Monte Carlo. Richard is on the board of the Petersen Museum.
