Ryne "Ryno" Sandberg is a hall-of-fame second baseman who played 16 years in Major League Baseball, primarily with the Chicago Cubs. Sandberg hit for a lifetime .285 average, collecting 2,386 hits, 282 home runs, and 1,061 RBI. He led the National League three time in runs scored, as well as once in triples (19 in 1984), home runs (40 in 1990) and total bases (344 in 1990). Sandberg was a 10-time All-Star, 9-time Gold Glove-winner and was crowned the 1984 NL MVP.
