Started in 1977 by Paul Wilczynski Scale Dreams used a technique that he had developed that allowed cold-molding in polyurethane resin of precise, thin-walled parts in quantities of about 50 pieces in flexible RTV matched-plate tooling and was the first brand to this for limited-edition, high-dollar collectible model cars.
Scale Dreams produced mostly concept cars with a few production "missing link" collector's Corvette models, an Oldsmobile, and a Pontiac, all in 1/25 Scale and stopped production in 1991.
