Schönbuch Bräu is a German brewery based in Böblingen, which was founded in 1823 and is the oldest existing business in the city.

The company was founded in 1823 as a brewery Dinkelacker by Karl Gottfried Dinkelacker in Böblingen. In 1860 his sons Christian and Wilhelm took over the business. After disagreements over the distribution and development of the brewery Wilhelm Dinkelacker 1873 paid his brother Christian, who then founded the brewery Dinkelacker in Stuttgart . To avoid confusion between the two breweries, the Dinkelackers in Böblingen deleted the c from their name. In 1898 Wilhelm handed over the company to his sons Wilhelm and Hermann. In 1906 the name Schönbuch Bräu was introduced. It refers to the nearby forest area Schönbuch, Since 1991 also wheat beers are brewed.
