Shayna Baszler

Shayna Andrea Baszler is a professional wrestler and former mixed martial artist, currently signed to WWE where she performs on developmental territory, NXT. She was trained by former UFC Heavyweight Champion Josh Barnett. She is a former NXT Women’s Champion winning the championship in April 2018.

Baszler gained recognition for popularizing a particular hammerlock submission set-up while on her back; a set-up which she has used to defeat many fighters, including Roxanne Modafferi. In an audio interview with Jordan Breen on the Sherdog Radio Network, she dubbed the submission, which she created in training, as the "Shwing."
