Steve Hamm is a diecast customizer. Hamm creates exact customized scale models to match his customers’ vehicles, as well as creating new and unique customs. Hamm uses castings and will add details such as hood scoops or spoilers, or chopping them to add or take away items, such as fenders or bumpers.
Hamm and his wife Christine helped starting the Rhode Island Hot Wheels Club with help from friends Jim Lombardi and Dan Spaulding. The pair have worked as staff members at all five Summer Smash conventions. In the summer, Hamm attends car shows with his mustangs.

His facebook page for his work is SRH Designs, where he showcases his attention to detail and the processes he uses, as well as his previous work. All colors used are factory paint code colors of the vehicle being built for the customer. Custom make and print decals, stripes, logos and use bear metal foil brands for window trims and moldings, ect.
