The AEC Bus was the third bodyshape and was released in 1996 and was an excellent edition to the range. The AEC 34 seater bus was a revolution when launched in 1909 when approximately 60 were manufactured. It was built at Walthamstow (London). Known as the X type it used a four cylinder 28 hp petrol engine. Its speed of 12 mph was 4 times greater than the horse drawn!
