Traded as Intertek Tickford for 12 months and then latterly just Intertek, The acquisition of Tickford complemented similar services already provided by Intertek in the US and the acquisition enabled both Intertek's US customers to divert their European based testing requirements to Tickford as well as enabling Tickfords UK customers to access Intertek facilities in the US.
