Something Missing?

Treebeard is a fictional character from Tolkien's Lord of the Rings. He is also known as Fangorn in Sindarin, and is the oldest of the Ents left on Middle-earth, an ancient tree-like being who is a shepherd of the trees. In The Two Towers, Treebeard meets with Merry Brandybuck and Pippin Took, two Hobbits of the Shire. This meeting proves to have consequences that contribute significantly to the story and enables the events that occur in The Return of the King.

Treebeard was voiced by John Westbrook in the Ralph Bashki animated film and by John Rhys-Davies in the Peter Jackson films.
